Our Story
Located at 303 State Ave., in Alpena, Michigan, this magnificent stone house was built in 1902 by Charles R. Henry and later inherited by his son Carl R. Henry. The Henry House took two years to construct and boasts 18" thick walls from stones brought from all over the great state of Michigan...some even traveled from the depths of Lake Huron herself.
This landmark is an iconic, fully restored Queen Ann home nestled in the heart of Alpena. Featuring exquisite hardwood floors, leaded glass accent windows, magnificent hand carved stairwell, cornices, and ornate woodwork, as well as a wraparound porch. This 7000+ square foot home boasts three unique fireplaces, foyer sitting room, great room, library, and dinning room. The Henry House is ideally located across the street from Lake Huron and only minutes from the marina, parks, beaches, and downtown.
